Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save your home's maps, organize cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power, as well as how much water your mop uses.
A mapping function can help your robot navigate around rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles helps it avoid running over furniture, wires or even stray toys. These are essential features to have in my house, filled with toys scattered around.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, so it naturally comes with a host of features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even lift its mop pads or brushes to ensure that soft surfaces don't get wet. It can also stay clear of obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants, and other small objects.
The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is higher than any other robot vacuum we've tested. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to track its position, which prevents it from getting stuck on a surface.
The mopping function is impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide a deep clean. It also has a mop lifter system which lifts the pad automatically when it changes between tile and laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs to avoid soaking soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be washed and heat-dried within the dock and the dust container will get emptied and automatically returned to it. You can set it and forget about it. You only need to replenish the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.
All this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I used it on its normal mop and vac settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and then return to its base for a recharge. This is within the range of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids that I've tested.
This is a very well-rounded and capable product, with the only drawback being the fact that it's pricey. The sheer amount of features make it a great choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you are able to justify the price, we highly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. The price is justified by the powerful features, including a large vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that rotate. It also includes an app-based controller that is smart and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it was able to perform well across all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. The mops also performed well, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement as well as the powerful cleaning solution.
The docking station is the real selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag that can be used for dirt, fills up the tank with water to use for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It also has an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions with its smart controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance when compared to the other hybrid mop I tried. The mops on the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
In spite of the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance and care. To prevent mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station, dustbag, and water tanks must be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. The mop pads sold separately will require changing regularly.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're looking to save money, I recommend a more basic model that lets you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's worth noting that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can purchase, its high purchase cost and maintenance costs will ultimately make it more of a wish rather than a requirement.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and remove dirt from your hard floors. This powerful robovac and mop combo packs an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa as well as a massive battery that can be used for mopping and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacle avoidance. It even has a roller mop that cleans itself as it goes and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-cleaning to clean the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller is almost entire length of the bot, and it is constantly supplied with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Dry debris is removed using the side brushes, or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump mop water that is dirty into its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heater elements and empty into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard is able to hold a large amount of water and handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package, just like most other robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro needs to be filled with clean water. robot vacuum cleaner reviews can be done using the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to dock. If you do opt for this feature, you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow users to use their own cleaner of choice.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map a area and was able to navigate around furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a couple of times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my testing however this can be fixed as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has lots of features at an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum. However, it still has some amazing features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, as well as cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system is capable of cleaning a large portion of an area before returning to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction is capable of removing dirt and pet hair from carpets.
The application that runs this appliance is dense, offering a wide choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can clean manually every area that is mapped by this device or choose individual rooms, expandable zone, or a routine you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
Like the other Roborock models we've evaluated like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. robot cleaner performs well, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning in a neat manner. Its 'Normal" pathing option covers the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too, though it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify the dangers of carpets that are thick but it might not always recognize smaller things like rug tassels, or electrical wires.
This device has a major flaw: it does not include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple workaround: the app includes an option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. You can use the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and dirt that were left behind after vacuuming. This is a great feature that lets this vacuum to clean up a bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
